Why did you stop having the Eletric Blue Gables?

What happened to the new color Gables?
Worldwide Sport Supply Response: Once we posted the shoes, we placed our order to ASICS, expecting approval to be a formality as that is how it's been since we started selling Gables back in 2006. However, this year ASICS asked us to wait for an approval. We thought this would have come by now for sure, but we’re still waiting! Thanks for your continued patience!
Hey it says for the electric blue in size 6 that the estimated ship date is 2/24/12 is that correct? If not when do you think they will arrive?
Worldwide Sport Supply Response: July 2012 is the correct availability date for the 3 Pre-Order Colors, we apologize for the confusion. The Estimated Ship Date that shows on our site when you select a color and size does not apply to the Pre-Order Shoes in this case. Due to a site limitation, we can only show the estimated ship date for the AVAILABLE colors no matter what color you click on. This is why we have put the availability dates for the Pre-Order colors on the images themselves. We are working on fixing this issue.
Will they be making the black gold and silver in a 13?
Worldwide Sport Supply Response: We checked with ASICS and they are currently not showing any date when the size 13 will be in stock. We'd suggest looking into a different color (Black/Red/Silver is available in 13) or a different shoe style since we don't know when they may be providing more information on this.
I havent recieved them yet but i went to footlocker and found them for 100 buck alot cheaper!!

It is possible that the color/size you ordered is on backorder. This shoe is very popular, with some sizes sold out, and quite a few on backorder until December 2011. These shoes have the best support and durability out of all the wrestling shoes I've owned. I've had them since the winter of last year and I use them for every practice and they still feel just as new.
My son loved getting these shoes for Christmas. He says they are very comfortable with just the right amount of support. I really liked the customer service I received when ordering from worldwide sports especiall around Christmas when things are just crazy for companys trying to get things shipped in time for the big day. My son loves these shoes. He said the side grips are way better than his last Asics. I would caution that they are very stiff and we did have to return them for the next size up to be comfortable... expensive trial and error if buying online.
