My son loves his chin strap, he insists on it for all his headgear. It keeps the strap from choking him and holds the headgear in place better.

It says it works for the Brute Classix 2 headgear in the description. But you guys say that it doesnt. What is the truth?
Worldwide Sport Supply Response: To make sure we checked with Cliff Keen, this chin cup and strap WILL work with the Brute Classix 2. But the good news is, if you haven't purchased headgear yet, the Brute Classix 2 now comes with it's own chin cup and strap.
For some reason my chin doesnt fit. I have a short chin, and it leaves a little gap at the bottom. It also makes my face look really short and chubby. How is it supposed to fit?

Would these work if u just took the chin cup by itself and put it on a single chin strap that came with the headgear? like the kind of strip that isn't separated in the middle like this one.
Worldwide Sport Supply Response: Yes, the chin cup can be removed and it will fit on the Cliff Keen single strap. Some adjusting might be necessary, and whether or not the fit is comfortable will be a matter of personal preference, but it is possible.

The fit is good, it stays put. We couldn't find one in black, which would have matched the headgear better.

The chin strap works great,my sons head gear use to always come off during a match.Since having the chin strap his head gear stays in place and he doesn't get choked by having the traditional strap under the chin.
Perfect. Keeps the wrestler from being "strangled" by the stock under the neck strap. Should be standard item on all headgear. You will need a pair of pliers to get it on the one side.
