This wrestling shoe is great for beginning wrestlers. The shoe actually grips the mat to give great driving force. These shoes are also very durable I have been using the same pair for three full seasons and they are still in excellent condition. The only thing I didn't like was how the white bottoms would change into the color of the mat you are on. Other than that these shoes are awesome for beginners, not so much for veteran wrestlers though, thats why im getting me some Dan Gable Ultimate 2!
