Barry Lovelace, a personal trainer, has developed a new way to train volleyball players to jump higher, hit harder and move faster. His new DVD is gaining a ton of attention these days. The volleyball training exercises he demostrates are fresh and innovative. Using mostly flex bands, medicine balls, and balance pads, he trains volleyball players to do volleyball specific movements in an unstable environment with resistence. Barry has been traveling the entire east coast, presenting his new training program to volleyball coaches, campers, and individual players. Some of his clients have seen huge results as their vertical jumps have increased over a few short sessions. The exercises are easy to perform and can be tailored to the level of the athlete. I personally like the workout because it gives my players something different to focus on rather than traditional weight training. Using the flex bands and swiss balls keeps them interested in the workout, plus this equipment is a lot less intimidating than barbells and leg presses. I really like that they can take a flex band along with them on vacation and perfom the exercises outside of a gym or weight room. It's interesting stuff!

Re: Jump Training & Conditioning for Volleyball
Wow....thanks for kind words Kishan!
It may seem to good to be true to many of you reading this, but Kishan is right. Without the use of traditional weight training and training proprioceptively we are seeing fabulous results world wide.
The DVD demonstrates step by step, in detail, each exercise. It's as if you have your own personal trainer. Along with the DVD the customer receives workouts for an entire team to perform as well as a bunch of different workout routines to train individually right at home, in a hotel room, on a deck, in a garage or right on the volleyball court..anywhere! The "Workout Suggestions' they receive are also 'step by step'.
Here is an email I recieved from a professional player in France: “Hey Barry… You know, maybe it is just mental, but I did some of the core exercises Monday with the balance ball and then again today (Tuesday) along with the squat stuff, and I felt more explosive in practice tonight already. Is it possible? Thanks Barry! Betsy”
Yes..if performed correctly, you will feel and see a difference almost immediately.
The DVD has been selling all across the US, Canada, France, Netherlands, Puerto Rico, New Mexico and a ton to Belgium.
If you have any questions, please ask and I will check back here to answer them.
Thanks Kishan!
In Good Health,
Barry Lovelace
